Styles
You have a couple choices when it comes to the style of the video.
The “Homespun” Approach.
Here, we actually film an artist drawing on a whiteboard or on paper. You’ll see shadows from the hand, and may see the paper move a little. The type of editing required in this style means that usually only black and red are used.
The “homespun” style gives the video a personal feel, and works well when you’re aiming for a conversational tone.
With this style, you can also choose to show the whole whiteboard or paper at once, or “zoom in” closer to the images. Your video could even “zoom out” enough to show the artist standing next to the whiteboard while they draw.
The “Sleek and Smooth” Approach.
With this style, we create each image and then load them into a computer program that auto-draws each line.
You can have more detailed images, with a variety of color options. We can “draw” almost any image, including photographs, maps, and your company’s logo.
The “sleek and smooth” style gives the video a professional feel, and works well in business-to-business markets.
